- Older pets may develop incontinence, so be sure to check your pet regularly for any soiling or dampness
- Purchase a sling or use a large towel to wrap under his body and assist him when getting up
- Consider the environment e.g. you may need to provide a rug where there is no carpet, avoid using stairs where possible, limiting exercise and introducing raised food bowls.
